Multiple OS in VPS Servers
We offer you three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our VPS servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are some of the safest and the most reliable OSs you can get and we provide all three of them instead of only 1 since we realize that you may want to set up some software which has specific requirements regarding the Operating System it will run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a vast support community behind it and there're different software applications you may install on the web server. Your OS choice will also determine what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS if you wish to use one and for this reason we offer several Control Panels as well. In the event you decide that you need to have another OS, our technical support can quickly wipe the current one and set up the one that you want. In addition, we offer an optional service to maintain the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are completely free and they will not increase the low price of your new hosting server, but also because they are very stable and secure. Each of them is supported by a large community of developers, so you will be able to choose from a myriad of software packages that you can install on your server in case the app that you intend to use has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on particular OSs only and since we want to provide you with as much flexibility as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a certain Operating System, we could change it upon request in case it turns out that you need alternative one. We could also keep your OS updated weekly as part of the additional Managed Services upgrade.
